These premium sound deadening mats from Second Skin provide a quiet sanctuary within your van during long drives and bumpy roads.
Made with an elastomeric butyl layer and an aluminum constraint layer, Damplifier Pro is the ultimate solution to reduce structural noise in your van. The butyl compound effectively converts vibrational energy into low-level heat, preventing it from being transmitted as sound.
Apply Damplifier Pro to all metal surfaces (walls, roof, floor), especially the large, flat panels in a cargo van. With sound dampening mat, anything is good, and more is better. BUT there are diminishing returns as you get closer to 100% coverage. We recommend approximately 60% coverage with a focus on the larger areas. See the table for recommended quantities:
