Shipping policy
Hello! Featherbuilt offers several shipping methods to get your orders to your door on time, and safely.
Most of our products ship for free anywhere in the lower 48 United States. If an item has additional shipping costs, it will be calculated and added to your total upon checkout.
Throughout the Featherbuilt online store, you will find a variety of products. Some are made-to-order, some are ready to ship, and others are shipped via our trusted vendors and distributors.
Products that are ready to ship typically ship within 3-5 days from purchase.
Products that are made-to-order, such as cabinets and Foundation Kits, typically ship within 4-6 weeks from purchase.
We will alert you if your products will ship outside of that timeline.
What Affects Processing Time
- Materials options (Laminated materials and powder coating may add an additional 12-18 business days)
- Current production volume
- Custom requests or modifications
Throughout the manufacturing process, we will keep you updated on any changes in schedule and shipping timeline.
Shipping Method
Your order will be shipped to you via UPS or FedEx or other regional carrier. If you are ordering several large products, we may choose to ship your order via freight. If this is the case, we will get in contact with you to schedule a freight delivery date.
Shipping Holds
We do our best to work with customers and their build schedule, but once a package leaves our shop, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date. If there's a chance you'll be out of town during the expected delivery range of your order, please get in touch with us to postpone shipping.
In most cases you will be required to sign for your delivery. This is your chance to note damages, inspect the product and alert us to any issues. Please notify us of any damages within 24 hours of receiving your delivery.
