Compatibility Note: Fits bare-metal frame windows. Doesn't work with custom frames or blocked windows. Adventure Wagon kits supported. For passenger vans, additional VHB velcro is included for plastic-trim compatibility.

Direct Fit = when a window is "framed in," our cover is sized to fit the aluminum ring on the window. A metal-tab / 3M adhesive kit is included to position where the magnets sit inside the cover so it attaches to the aluminum ring.

These covers accommodate factory glass or aftermarket vented windows with a bare-metal frame around them. They include a built-in T-vent split, can store in place in the window frame when not in use, and fold sideways for AMA, Van Windows Direct, or other branded sliding vented windows. They do NOT work with custom framed window boxes or when furniture or other items block the window.

Adventure Wagon kits (or builds with framing covering the window pocket) are supported with a smaller crew cover that grabs the small bare-metal flat section around the glass. For the best light-blocking seal, tuck it in about 1/4 inch. Alternatively, buy the larger cover and place magnets (sold separately) behind the wall panel. Works best with factory glass, AMA, or VWD windows. If you have CRL, our direct-fit cover is the better choice.

Passenger Vans: With factory plastic trim in place, our magnet strength should grab through the trim; on the regular crew cover we also stitch velcro along the top and include VHB velcro to additionally adhere the cover along the top. Clean the plastic before adhering.

Storyteller Vans: our cover folds up in place, opens from one side to the other, and comes in both colors.
