Year-round comfort at the rear doors.
Bare metal rear doors pull heat out of your van in winter, let it in during summer, and drum on rough roads. Maxx Cover by Redpoint is an insulated cover set made for the Ford Transit High Roof's rear doors. Built-in magnets hold each cover to the door edges, so there's nothing to drill, and the doors still open and close the way they always have.
Compatibility:
- Fits: Ford Transit High Roof, 2015–present, all wheelbases (148 and 148 Extended)
- Does not fit: Transit Mid Roof or Low Roof. For a Mid Roof, see the Transit Mid Roof Maxx Cover Pro.
- Fit requirement: The magnets attach to bare metal around the outer edges of both rear doors. Remove any trim covering those edges. Most center-mounted storage panels can stay; large or protruding panels may affect the fit, especially on the lower doors.
- Sprinter, Transit, and ProMaster covers are not interchangeable.
What's Included:
- 2 insulated rear door covers (one per door) with built-in magnets
Features:
- Full-door insulation helps reduce heat transfer, road noise, and door rattling.
- Moves with each door, so opening and closing stays effortless.
- Magnetic attachment creates a clean, finished look without drilling.
- Dual-zip panels open for access to the rear windows or storage.
- Materials: 30D ripstop nylon shell with a water-resistant PU coating, high-loft synthetic insulation, YKK zippers.
Lite or Pro?
- Maxx Cover Pro (this one): full-door coverage and insulation, plus zip-open panels for the rear windows and storage. Built for daily use.
- Maxx Cover Lite: the same coverage and insulation with solid panels. Best for simple privacy and insulation, or vans without rear windows. Shop the Lite
Installation:
Hold each cover up to its door and let the magnets pull it into place around the edges. No drilling, no tools.
Care:
Machine wash cold on gentle with like colors, tumble dry low, and don't iron. If the covers arrive creased, lay them flat or install them and they'll relax back into shape.
FAQs:
Does it work in summer?
Yes. Insulation slows heat moving in either direction.
Will it stop condensation?
It reduces how much warm interior air reaches the cold door metal, but it can't eliminate condensation. Ventilation and humidity control still matter.
